Check It Out, Right Servers Has a Blog!

written by admin

That’s right folks, the long awaited blog that nobody has been talking about… All kidding aside, it is great to finally have a blog to share all our intelligence and experience with the whole world.

My name is Yazan Al-Sheikhly and I am the current CEO of Right Servers (www.rightservers.com). Right Servers has been in business since 2007, but don’t let that date fool you because some of our team members bring over 20 years of IT experience to the table. With this vast amount of experience and our innovative mindsets, we have been capable of providing some of the best solutions out there on the market. Our solutions are tailored towards the small and medium sized businesses (SMEs). The services include but are not limited to domain hosting, email exchanges, virtual and dedicated servers, private clouds, cloud migration as well as custom cloud application development.

I will be writing the majority of these blogs simply because I can’t find anybody in the office to listen to me anymore. So, it is important for you to know my personal experience and qualifications before you take your time to read any of my blog posts. I hold an Honors BSc in Computer Science and an Honors BBA in Business Administration both from Wilfrid Laurier Univeristy where I graduated with distinction (part-time party animal). Before this, I was involved with various web hosting and game hosting companies – some were start-ups while others were in their beginning stages where I was brought in to utilize my expertise to improve quality, control cost and improve the overall brand of the companies. After dealing with start-ups, I decided to dive into the corporate world to test out how my entrepreneurial experience would stack up in a corporate atmosphere. This led to product management at a high-tech company, but my understanding of the equity markets eventually led me to an analyst position at an asset management firm in downtown Toronto. After then, I took a leap over to an analyst position at a private equity firm just down Bay Street in downtown Toronto (where I spent many days staring back at my old office). After that, my passion for the high-tech world just had to come out, but I wanted to utilize my financial analytical skills so I took a position with a leading handset manufacturer for the Strategic Alliances business unit. All of these experiences ultimately drifted me back into the entrepreneurial world and Right Servers began… Boring, I know.

It is important for me to start blogging because during my career I have seen a lot of organizations that tend to make the same mistakes but also a lot of our clients that share the same successes. Some of these will prove to be the turning point for your business or marketing strategy, while for others, it may just re-iterate what you have been thinking all along (great minds think alike). It is always important to note that I am not handing you blueprints  for a money making machine, and that every business is unique and requires its strategy and implementation to be tailored to its specific needs and goals. If you  wish to have Right Servers tailor a business/marketing/project plan for you then please contact our Sales departments, but you must understand that everything posted on this blog is a matter of self opinion and Right Servers nor I (Yazan Al-Sheikhly) can be held liable for how this information is interpreted or used.

Thank you for your time and I hope you visit  the Right Servers Blog again. If you wish to have a certain topic covered or mentioned in a blog post, feel free to email me at Yazan [at] rightservers.com. If you SPAM me, I will find you.

Kind regards,

Yazan Al-Sheikhly
